In bracing for smaller military budgets, some Marine Corps installations are trimming expenses by reducing operating hours at fitness centers and curtailing spending on amenities such as personal trainers, satellite TV and gym towels. And in some cases, the costs for programs or services such as exercise classes, once provided to military families and retirees for free, now carry mandatory fees.
We'd like to know how these changes have affected you and your family.
Have they compelled you to modify workout habits and routines? Do you opt to pay for off-base civilian gyms instead, or does Semper Fit still provide what you're looking for?
