Selection lists containing the names of officers recommended for promotion by the annual Army Competitive Category colonel board that met in May will be released Thursday.

The primary zone of consideration for the Regular Army O-6 board included basic-branch lieutenant colonels with O-5 dates of rank of Sept. 1, 2009 through Aug. 31, 2010.

The below-zone category, originally designed for one year group of officers, was later expanded to two cohorts. The O-5 date of rank window spanned Sept. 1, 2010 through Aug. 31, 2012.
