Veterans will be admitted free to this weekend’s International Franchise Expo at the Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C.
The expo will include information from companies offering incentives to veterans who choose to open franchises through the International Franchise Association’s VetFran program, said IFA spokesman Terry Hill.
Hundreds of franchises will operate booths at the expo, with details about small-business opportunities in more than 75 industries. Food service, drug screening, therapeutic massage, real estate and business services are just a few.
To be admitted free, go to the expo registration desk and say you are a veteran. Proof of military service is not required.
For non-veterans, on-site registration is $25 for one day and $35 for two or three days. Registration includes admission to exhibits and free seminars.
