DOVER, Del. — Dover police have arrested a local man who allegedly went door to door selling bogus raffle tickets.
According to police, 26-year-old Marcus Jackson was discharged from the Marines in April but was wearing his dress blues uniform this month as he canvassed his neighborhood selling raffle tickets that were supposedly for the Marine Corps Ball.
Jackson is charged with 18 counts of criminal impersonation and 17 counts of theft by false pretense.
He has been released on bond.
