Reservist shot dead near interstate onramp

STROUDSBURG, Pa. — Friends and relatives of a Marine fatally shot near an eastern Pennsylvania highway onramp are asking the public for information on his death.
Authorities say 25-year-old Antoine Leaver was shot around 2:30 a.m. Sunday near a ramp to Interstate 80 in East Stroudsburg. He died about 40 minutes later at a hospital, though it is unclear who brought him there.
The Marine corporal served two tours in Iraq before his discharge in 2006. He lived in Stroudsburg and was an active member of the Marine Corps Reserve.
About 60 people attended a candlelight vigil for Leaver on Monday.
