President Donald Trump marshaled tanks, bombers and other machinery of war on Tuesday for a Fourth of July celebration that traditionally is light on military might, while critics accused him of using America’s military as a political prop.

The so-called Gunfighters are the first Air Force squadron to utilize a Type 1 hydrant system from the 1950s and hose carts from the 1970s that hook up to 500,000 gallon tanks during hot-pit refueling of the F-35s.
The military has deployed large numbers of troops to predominantly Muslim Sulu to bolster a months-long offensive against remnants of the Abu Sayyaf, which is listed by the United States and the Philippines as a terrorist organization for bombings, ransom kidnappings and beheadings.
