Families of four of the five Marines killed when their Osprey crashed in California allege the manufacturers failed to address known mechanical failures.
The V-22 is allowed to fly again, and the services will each implement their own training and maintenance protocols to get the fleet back to operations.
While Marines have yet to test a combo of USV, UUV and attack drones, such a trial is possible in the near future, according to Lt. Gen. Karsten Heckl.
