Gunnery Sgt. Cameron Tygett faces a special court-martial on charges that he sexually harassed, assaulted and intimidated a total of seven sailors while aboard the amphibious transport dock Arlington, according to a charge sheet provided to Marine Corps Times.

Tygett is accused of grabbing one of the sailors and bending her over a desk, according to the charge sheet. He is also accused of kissing and grabbing sailors, as well as telling another sailor who could be a witness in one of the cases against him to keep quiet.

A special court-martial can result in up to one year confinement, a bad conduct discharge and forfeiture of two-thirds of monthly pay for a year.

The gunnery sergeant could not be immediately reached for comment. Tygett does not have a civilian attorney and his military attorney declined to comment on Wednesday, said David Todd, a spokesman for Navy Region Mid-Atlantic. No date has been set yet for Tygett's trial, Todd said.

The alleged incidents took place between December 2014 and December 2015 aboard the ship and in Israel and Jordan, the charge sheet says. Some of the incidents of alleged harassment began as fraternization.

Tygett faces charges of violation of a general order, abusive sexual contact, indecent exposure, battery, obstructing justice and assault consummated by battery, according to the charge sheet, which did not include the alleged victims' names.
