On Friday, 492 new Marines graduated from Parris Island, and 14 of them also became naturalized U.S. citizens, according to The Beaufort Gazette.

Approximately 19,000 recruits come to Parris Island each year to become a Marine, the paper reports. Here are the 14 who also got their citizenship upon graduation:
