Service members serving on active duty or in the Reserve can now obtain, at a discounted price, early registration access for the 42nd Marine Corps Marathon, taking place on October 22 throughout the nation's capital.
There are limited discounted entries available, so it is recommended that military members register quickly at marinemarathon.com.
Last year more than 7,000 military members from all service branches participated in the Marine Corps Marathon.
Service members unable to obtain a limited discount slot can register for the lottery, which will be open to the public from March 22-29. Those registered will be notified of their status beginning on March 30.
