President Donald Trump signed a roughly $1.2 trillion government funding bill Tuesday that ends the partial federal shutdown that began over the weekend.
Voting could begin as soon as Tuesday, which would be day four of the partial shutdown. The Pentagon, among other agencies, saw its funding lapse Saturday.
The Department of Veterans Affairs has returned to a pre-2022 policy that requires patients seeking the procedure to go outside the department for care.
The Senate voted to fund most of the government through the end of September after Trump made a deal with Democrats to carve out Homeland Security funding.
