A florist organization that has been placing Memorial Day flowers at gravesites at Arlington National Cemetery for over a decade is calling for help. Numerous documentaries have ventured to convey the immense sacrifices of WWII. Korean war veteran advocates say more than 1,000 names on the new remembrance wall contain errors. “You could have done anything, but you decided to be a Marine.” Since 1965, eight C-130s and 43 C-130 Marine aircrew members have been lost. A new memorial was unveiled at the Lejeune Memorial Gardens yesterday. This is the first Memorial Day in 20 years when our country is not at war.
