Women in the military still face barriers as basic as uniforms that were designed for a man's body, despite decades of allies championing their service.
In the active duty Marine Corps, 13.4% of women surveyed reported unwanted sexual contact, as did 1.5% of men ― the highest rate of any service branch.
The Corps isn't following the recommended path, amid fears that total integration will cause it to lose its competitive edge for making the best warriors.
