Puerto Rico may not be back up to full power generation until January or February, U.S. Army Corps of Engineer Commander Lt. Gen. Todd Semonite said during a briefing on hurricane relief efforts Friday.
The U.S. military on Thursday kept pace with 24-hour operations to send aircraft, troops, food, supplies and equipment to Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands as the islands struggle to recover after Hurricane Maria.
