The Pentagon’s Joint Safety Council is now working with the Air Force, Navy and Marine Corps on their plans to get Osprey crews ready to fly again.

U.S. troops will likely be staying put at Tower 22 and other remote outposts in Iraq, Syria and Jordan, according to the Pentagon.
According to the 2022 Marine Corps Aviation Plan, Harrier pilot training will end in 2024.
One member of the unit said she purchased a membership at a gym a 30-minute drive away to get access to the hot showers there.
The report paints a picture of an aging and understaffed military.
The Army, Navy and Air Force have had such laboratories for years.
The Corps’ leaders have started referring to the plan formerly known as Force Design 2030 as simply “Force Design.”
It was an "isolated incident and there was no threat to other Marines or the public,” a Marine spokeswoman said.
The passenger, then 18, alleged the bomb threat was a joke.
Lt. Gen. Roger Turner, whose promotion had been among hundreds blocked by one senator, took over III Marine Expeditionary Force on Friday.
